You can customize the data settings for your organization to,
- Exclude import and collection of data from specific employees
- Exclude import and collection of data from specific contacts
- Exclude collection of subject metadata on communication
- Set the minimum group/tag size threshold
Exclude import and collection of data from specific employees or contacts
Go to the Data Settings page in your dashboard. Under the Data Exclusions section, you can find the option to add email addresses for employees or external contacts for which you do not want data to be collected or analyzed.
This is particularly useful if you want to exclude a certain group for analysis (e.g. CEO, Leadership, etc).
The changes take effect immediately and no further data is collected for these contacts.
Actions taken by the known aliases of the contacts in the exclusion list are also excluded by default. So if your primary email is firstname.lastname@example.org and the alias is email@example.com , both emails are automatically excluded if one is present in the list
Exclude collection of subject metadata on communication
Go to the Data Settings page in your dashboard. Under the Subject section, you can exclude collection of subject metadata from communication. Simply turn off the toggle for subject collection.
Set the minimum group/tag size threshold
You can change the minimum group/tag size below which ST insights won't be calculated and analysis won't be done. This is to protect individual privacy and also allow more meaningful insights for decision making.
The default minimum group size for insights to be calculated is 3.
